Held on the 23th traditional international scientific conference of the Association for International Criminal Law

The general theme of this year’s meeting was entitled “Crossroads of international criminal and criminal law – reform of the judicial laws of the Republic of Serbia”, and the work of the conference was organized in five sections.

On the first working day of the conference, work was done in three sections: International Criminal Law, Judicial Organizational Law – international and European standards, constitutional rules and Works of students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade, while on the second day, the agenda of the conference included two sections – Criminal Law and International public law and ecology, as well as a round table devoted to new judicial laws in the Republic of Serbia.

After the presentation of the report, a lively and very meaningful discussion of the conference participants developed within each section.

This year’s conference was attended by over 140 participants from the country and abroad, 51 of whom had a paper. The result of the work of the international scientific meeting is the Collection of Papers with over 770 pages of text. By gathering numerous prominent lawyers from the country and abroad, we showed our determination to find a way to resolve doubts in the sphere of science and practice and reform challenges with the strength of thought, will, exchange of experiences and arguments. today he faces criminal law, both international and domestic.

The number and quality of works, both by a number of already renowned authors and well-known names, as well as by authors who study intensively, improve and work hard on their scientific evaluation, undoubtedly contributes to the further strengthening of our legal culture and the further construction of the legal system of Serbia as an orderly state characterized by the rule of law. the rule of law.

Hereby we would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s conference, and to express the hope that we will gather in even greater numbers next year. We are especially grateful to the Student Resort “Belgrade”; as well as its part to the Student Resort “Palić” for its exceptional hospitality, as well as to the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade, in the hope that our successful cooperation will continue in the coming years.
